Prairie Wildflower Garden
Native prairie grasses and wildflowers covered the vast majority of the middle of the United States including our home state of Kansas. Early immigrants passing through the prairie, on their journey to Oregon and California falsely thought the land was barren because of the lack of trees and forests.
