Open Field Vegetable Garden
Traditionally, we envision a vegetable garden as a plot of ground that is plowed or tilled and the crops are planted in long straight rows. This method of gardening is basically a scaled down version a farm field. Some garden vegetable crops, such as sweet corn, are more suited to be grown this way because corn needs more space to be grown in quantity. Most other garden vegetable crops are actually easier to grow, maintain and harvest in raised beds.
